Introducing our new President Shane Bishop...

Hi  Everyone,

Firstly  let  me  thank  Cam  Mellis  for  the  leadership  he
has shown overthe last  3 years  and  of  course  all  of
the committee  members, who tirelessly give  their
time and efforts  to  keep  this great  club going.

For  those  who don’t  know  me,  I  have  been  around  the  club  for  the
last 8  years,  in some  capacity  or  another,  and  enjoy  helping  out  to
ensure he  teams  get  on  the field.

Plans for next season are well underway with recruitment being our
major priority for all age groups, especially U9,  U10, U11  and  U12s.

Our first Registration Day took place on Sunday Nov 9th and was a huge
success. Lots of existing and new members took advantage of the
10% discount on fees if paid before Dec 31st. Direct deposit into the club's
bank account is the easiest way to pay fees so if you want to take advantage
of the pre Christmas discount then contact our Club Treasurer Lauren Pickard
at laurenpickard@bigpond.com.

Heres to a great season in 2015.

Regards
Shane  Bishop

BFC SENIORS

Our Partnership with the Boronia Senior Club

The Boronia Junior Football Club enjoy a very strong partnership with our Senior Club. Thanks to the support of BFC President Tim Currie and Senior Coach Marc Hardy the junior players and their families have enjoyed being part of some fantastic initiatives both on and off the field. These initiatives have continued to develop over the past four years and are in place with the aim to further strengthen our already healthy relationship between the two Clubs. Over the past 2 seasons we have had 7 junior players make their debut as senior footy  at Boronia.

Some of our initiatives include:

Senior players attending our Integration Days  • Senior / Junior club photo      • Senior team holding a clinic for the juniors     • Senior players and coaches attending Junior jumper presentation day   • Senior club hosting junior half time games  • Boronia Hawka Coterie Group funding the junior “Planning to Win” sessions for our junior coaches   • Boronia Past players awarding trophies  • Junior parents cooking BBQ at the senior home games  • U17 players preseason training with Seniors  • Junior parents helping out at Finals time  • Senior players coming down to junior training and running training sessions

A sincere thank you to the BFC for your continued support of our Juniors.
